ADAPT (All Dependent And Pre Term Babies and Children)
ADAPT is a support network for families in Leicester/ Leicestershire
& Rutland who have had either a premature baby or baby needing
special neonatal care. This support is available when a baby is in a
neonatal/special care baby unit and afterwards when the baby is home
with his/her family.
ADAPT
is a charitable, independent organisation set up by parents who
themselves have experienced the trauma and anxiety of having a baby on
a neonatal unit. It is managed by a voluntary committee, mostly made up
of individuals who are all familiar with what families go through when
they have a sick baby.
ADAPT
provides a service to anyone involved with the care of a baby on the
neonatal unit and can put you in touch with other parents and families
who have been through a similar experience.
